The Lost Girl Lampwork Glass Bead
Each bead in this collection is carefully handmade in my studio on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Using traditional lampwork techniques, I wind the molten glass onto a 2mm mandrel, then kiln-anneal each piece to ensure strength and durability. Because each bead is crafted from glass, it should be treated with care—these beads are not toys and are not intended for children.
The Lost Girl series is a deeply personal exploration of emotion, not an image. These beads represent those moments when we are lost within ourselves—whether in thought, joy, or sorrow—when time seems to stand still and we cannot be reached. They are the quiet, secret spaces where we are alone with our feelings, unable to be drawn out or touched.
I take great care in making each bead unique and beautiful, so that you can treasure it as a special, one-of-a-kind piece.
